Improved comment display and control bar

v2.0.22
  • Desktop (Windows)
  • Desktop (macOS)

We have released CommentScreen desktop app v2.0.22. This update improves comment and emoji performance and stability for more reliable use at large events, and makes the control bar easier to use during presentations.

More reliable comment display for large events

We ran load tests simulating events with around 10,000 participants and improved display performance when large numbers of comments and emoji arrive at once. (Desktop app v2 only.)

We optimized processing to help prevent slowdowns and app freezes during bursts of posts, keeping comments and emoji moving smoothly. These stability improvements help bring audience reactions to the screen without interrupting the atmosphere at large events.

Drag the control bar to reposition it

The control bar now appears at the bottom left when a presentation starts.

You can also drag it to a convenient position that suits your slides and other on-screen content.
