Better comment performance under heavy load and improved control bar operation

v2.16.1
  • Web
  • Desktop (Windows)
  • Desktop (macOS)

High-load performance: Better stability during bursts of comments and emoji, and long events

The amount of content displayed now adjusts to incoming post volume and PC load to reduce slowdowns when comments and emoji arrive in large numbers. Display volume recovers as the load subsides. (Web version and desktop app v2.)

We also reduced memory growth during prolonged use and addressed freezes immediately after a connection is restored. After a receiving error, you can try the on-screen Reconnect option. (Desktop app v2 only.)

Control bar: Drag the logo or handle to reposition it

You can now move the control bar at the bottom left of the live screen by dragging its logo or handle. (Web version and desktop app v2.)

When idle, only a faint logo remains visible. In desktop app v2, the slides or apps behind it become clickable again.
